Singapore-based developer SUTD Game Lab’s light-and-shadow puzzler One Upon Light will be out for PC on February 23rd. It’ll be available on Steam.
It previously won the IGF China Award for “Best Game” in 2013 and was selected as Famitsu’s Tokyo Game Show Indie Award 2014.
One Upon Light has you control “The Scientist,” who needs to escape the remains of the Aurora Science Labs, but has to be careful as exposure to light is deadly.
Hence, you’ll have to make use of switches, crates, and blocks to create shadows. Later on, you’ll also get the power of the Shadow Echo that allows you to create and cast shadows, but the puzzles will becoming more challenging to match.
