Bandai Namco announced today that their upcoming PlayStation 4 title The Idolmaster: Platinum Stars will release in Japan on July 28, 2016. The official website provides additional information on the limited edition versions.

The above is a look at the limited edition “Platinum Box” that will go for 12,400 yen plus tax. It contains the following items:

 

  • Platinum stars All-Star Live Pamphlet: A pamphlet for the All-Star Live that is held in the game. It is filled with a bunch of idol charm!

 

  • Vocal CD “Lis-Ani! Live 2016”: A live soundtrack CD from the “Lis-Ani! Live 2016” concert that was held in January 2016.

 

  • 765 Pro Calendar: A special 12-month calendar featuring the idols.

 

  • 765 Pro Idol Photographs (All 6): Visual cards that showcase the idols during their training camp and live shows.

 

  • Special Photo Frame: A specially designed photography frame that lets you put a photo of your choice.

 

  • Limited Edition Color Costumes DLC: Get an original-colored “Antique Star” costume DLC.

 

  • Special Designed Box: A box that was specially designed featuring the 13 idols.

 

The Idolmaster: Platinum Stars will release in Japan on July 28, 2016 for PlayStation 4. The standard and digital versions of the game will go for 8,200 yen plus tax. First-print copies of the game include a PlayStation 4 theme featuring the 13 idols as a bonus.
