A new trailer for Idol Showdown has revealed that Ninomae Ina’nis, Machina x Flayon, and Ouro Kronii will appear as characters you can play as or fight against. They’ll appear in a new update, along with some other changes.
The trailer starts out with a rundown of what will be in the new patch. This includes new moves, as well as new mechanics like Jab Chains. Then, it moves on to the new characters. It shows Fubuzilla & Kurokami Fubuki, Ouro Kronii, and R-Trus (Machina x Flayon). These are new boss characters you can challenge. Ninomae Ina’nis, who gets her own trailer, will debut as a playable fighter in Idol Showdown.

This new update will launch on May 5, 2024, which happens to be the one-year anniversary of the game’s release. All of the characters, like the other playable roster, are voiced by their actual VTubers.
Idol Showdown is a freeware fighting game focusing on VTubers from Hololive Production. While it’s a 1v1, you can also choose a secondary assist character to help you during battle. As of the time of writing, there are eleven playable characters, including Usada Pekora, Hoshimachi Suisei, and notably, Kiryu Coco, who is no longer a member of Hololive.
Idol Showdown is readily available on Windows PC. The new Idol Showdown update, which will introduce Ninomae Ina’nis as a playable character, will go live on May 5, 2024.
