Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection Includes New Footage Of The Last Guardian

North America may not be getting the special Japanese Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection Limited Box, but the collection will still contain some bonus content on the disc . Sony mentioned these on the PlayStation blog today.

On the disc will be five bonus behind-the-scenes videos about both Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. The list (quoted verbatim) is:

• Early concept and prototype video montage of Ico
• Early concept and prototype video montage of Shadow of the Colossus
• Initial concept video for NICO, a game that was never made but turned into Shadow of the Colossus, including an on-camera introduction from creator Fumito Ueda
• Candid 20+ minute round-table discussion between Fumito Ueda (creator), Kenji Kaido (producer) and Junichi Hosono (designer)

Those are the content pertaining to Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. In addition to these, there will also be a 12-minute behind-the-scenes video filmed at the Sony Computer Entertainment offices in Japan, with interviews about the making of both games, as well prototype footage and new footage of The Last Guardian.

 Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection is due out on September 27th in North America.
