ice-Head Gill begins with Gill being chased out of Great Ice, the Kingdom of Ashen Ice. While his father Dreki Sol was one of the chief defenders of the kingdom and head of the Nidhogg warriors, the series begins with him being accused of killing the prince and his allies. Gill winds up on Urchin Island working as an underling for Mela. However, an incident leads him to head out on a journey to find out the truth about what happened to his father and to fight the liches coming to the world.

It’s been about a month since a new Shonen Jump manga series debuted. The last one was Nue’s Exorcist. It showed up on May 14, 2023. About a week before that, Do Retry started its run.

The first chapter of Ice-Head Gill is now available, and the next installment of the manga will appear in Shonen Jump on June 2, 2023.
