More information about Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity was revealed during Koei Tecmo’s Tokyo Game Show 2020 presentation. This included new gameplay footage of Impa and Link.

This new entry in The Legend of Zelda series will serve as a prequel to the Breath of the Wild continuum. Age of Calamity will take place one hundred years before the events of that game, allowing players to take the roles of Link, Zelda, Daruk, Mipha, Revali, and Urbosa.

Additionally, if players have The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild save data on their Nintendo Switch, they will receive a unique weapon. The wooden training sword can be obtained in Age of Calamity. The other special weapon is a Lucky Ladle that can be obtained through pre-ordering Age of Calamity digitally.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will be available for Nintendo Switch on November 20, 2020. Pre-orders are now open.
