The story of From Me to You: Kimi ni Todoke follows social outcast Sawako Kuronuma on her first day of high school. Her similarities to a popular horror character named Sadako intertwined with her timid personality leads others to avoid her. However, Sawako gradually leaves her hardened shell with help from Shota Kazehaya; a boy who treats her like he would anyone else. The first season of this high school romance adapts seven volumes that include 27 chapters of the manga.
