The Starfield Bogdanov Boutique Liquor item is used to complete a specific mission in Bethesda’s space RPG. However, you may be confused about what to do with the box of alcohol if you discover it before picking up the side quest tied to it. Here is how to use the Starfield Bogdanov Boutique Liquor item.
What is the Starfield Bogdanov Boutique Liquor item used for?
If you found the Bogdanov Boutique Liquor item while raiding the vault of a spaceship in Grissom and were confused about what to do with it, you are not alone! It took me over 40 hours before I finally discovered what it’s actually used for. The Starfield Bogdanov Boutique Liquor item is tied to the Sure Bet mission given by Lizzy Ajello on the planet Gagarin in the Alpha Centauri System.
Making things even more confusing is the fact that the Sure Bet mission doesn’t actually mention Bogdanov Boutique Liquor in its objectives and is referenced as “luxury booze” instead. Because of this, many players who accidentally found the alcohol first were left scratching their heads about what to do with it. However, giving Lizzy Ajello the Bogdanov Boutique Liquor will automatically complete the Sure Bet mission.
Where to find the Sure Bet mission location in Starfield?
The Sure Bet mission can be found on the planet Gagarin in the Alpha Centauri System. It’s actually located directly next to the beginning-area New Atlantis. So it’s fairly easy to find! Simply pause your game and access your star system map. Once in Alpha Centauri, zoom out and look for Gagarin, which is southeast from Jemison on the right hand of your screen.

After you land on Gagarin, make your way to the bottom floor at the center of the colony to find the local bar. Once here, speak to the bartender named Lizzy Ajello and select the “I’m looking for work” dialogue option. The NPC will then ask you to retrieve luxury alcohol from a ship that is floating around the moon, Grissom. You will now have the Sure Bet mission active, which tasks you with finding the Bogdanov Boutique Liquor item.
Where to find the Starfield Bogdanov Boutique Liquor item?
The Bogdanov Boutique Liquor can be found inside the vault of a Deimos Armored Transport ship that is floating around the Grissom moon in Starfield. Like the Sure Bet mission, the luxury alcohol is located extremely close to New Atlantis in Alpha Centauri. From your Star System map, take your cursor and find the planet Bondar, which is southwest of Jemison, on the left side of your screen. Next, click and travel to the second moon to the right of Bondar, called Grissom.

After you travel to Grissom, look for the Deimos Armored Transport ship that is floating nearby and dock it. The Bogdanov Boutique Liquor item is locked inside of the craft’s vault. To get inside, you need to enter the room behind the vault door and use the ceiling vent to reach a hidden area of the ship. You will be able to float through the vent when the ship’s power cuts out, as it will lose gravity. Once you make your way through the ventilation system, you can open the vault door by using the computer that is tucked away at the center of the Deimos Armored Transport.
However, the ship is filled to the brim with space pirates. Thankfully, they are only level 6, so most players should have a fairly easy time dispatching them. After you gain access to the vault, the Starfield Bogdanov Boutique Liquor item can be picked up in a chest. Once you have the key item, fly back to Gagarin and hand the luxury booze to Lizzy Ajello to complete the Sure Bet mission.
