Are you wondering how to smash boxes in the Street Fighter 6 World Tour’s open-world map? You aren’t alone. An easy-to-miss mechanic lets your character use signature attacks to interact with and destroy objects in Metro City. Here is how to use Master Actions in Street Fighter 6 World Tour.

One you hit the streets of Metro City in the single-player campaign, your instincts may kick in when you see obviously-breakable boxes begging to be smashed. However, you must first unlock the Master Action mechanic before you can start destroying them.

You will earn your first Master Action, “Rising Uppercut,” by becoming the student of Street Fighter 6’s Master Luke after completing the Chapter 1 mission, “New Kid on the Block.”

If you are still confused about how to use Master Action moves after unlocking the feature, that is totally understandable! The game doesn’t actually give you a proper tutorial until later in the story.

To use Master Action moves in Street Fighter 6 World Tour, bring up the Master Actions menu while in the overworld and press the button your move is assigned to. To find out which control setup you have, access the Settings app on your phone and then select the Master Action menu next to Emotes.

You can earn additional Master Actions by becoming a student of other Masters in the World Tour campaign. For example, I unlocked Chun-Li’s iconic Spinning Bird Kick after meeting her in Chapter 2’s China Town mission.

Master Actions are a good way of finding items and money just by smashing things. You can even pre-emptively attack enemies walking around the map, giving you an advantage in battle.

Street Fighter 6 is available now on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
