How to Unlock Void Ark in FFXIV

As part of the Heavensward expansion, players will need to meet the following requirements to unlock Void Ark:

  • Complete the Heavensward campaign.
  • Reach Level 60 with your character.
  • Be Item Level 175.

To access Void Ark, you will need to complete the “Heavensward” Main Scenario quest. This is the only real requirement to access the Alliance Raid, outside of needing to meet a level and Item Level requirement if you’re looking to grind it for experience.

To unlock the raid, you will need to accept the quest “Sky Pirates” at X:14.1, Y:10.7 in The Pillars in Ishgard. From there, you will navigate to Camp Cloudtop, which can be accessed by teleporting since you will have unlocked this Aetheryte through the Main Scenario Quests.

However, you must be able to fly to progress the quest. Either get a friend, Free Company member, or random stranger to fly you to your destination if you haven’t unlocked it yourself. From here, pick up the quest “To Rule the Skies” at X:25, Y:5 in the Sea of Clouds. This will unlock Void Ark.

  • Coffin Lid
  • Wind-up Echidna
  • Echidna Card
