Zenless Zone Zero has a plethora of more endgame-style content for players to encounter once they beat the main story. One of the most prominent pieces of endgame content is the Zenless Zone Zero weekly boss. This particular challenge boss is well worth it for the rewards once you unlock it.

How to Unlock the Weekly Challenge Boss in Zenless Zone Zero

First and foremost, you need to unlock the Notorious Hunt weekly boss before you can tackle it. To do this, you will want to beat the main story in the free-to-play gacha title. There are a different bosses, some of which do unlock as early as the Chapter 2 Interlude, but the latter ones require you to complete the story. This means completing the entire base game from Chapter 0 to 3 and all 52 quests within these parts.

In general, you’re looking at level 27 at the bare minimum to reach this point. However, I do recommend reaching at least level 30 or higher, if possible. The weekly challenge boss usually is aimed to players around level 30, so try to be there. In addition, I suggest having a few characters that are high enough as well, as it is not a simple task to win these boss fights with a single level 30 character.

Does Fighting the Weekly Boss Cost Stamina?

Most of the content in this game requires you to spend stamina or energy resources to do them. As such, you might be wondering if completing the weekly boss in Zenless Zone Zero also requires stamina. Fortunately, I can let you know that it will not cost any stamina whatsoever to tackle this boss fight.

This essentially means you can do this fight as many times as you need to each week to win it. Though if you level up high enough and pick characters with that boss’ weaknesses, you may not have to attempt it more than once. For instance, if you see the boss is weak to elements like Ice or Ether, you’d want characters like Lycaon or Nicole.

Zenless Zone Zero is available for free for Android, iOS, PS5, and PC.
