How to Unlock the TAQ Eradicator LMG in MW3

Unfortunately, the TAQ Eradicator isn’t available to unlock in MW3 officially at the time of this post. That said, you might be here because you’ve heard about some players already using it in the game. This is actually true, and it is possible to use the TAQ Eradicator early. As noted by Reddit, you can unlock the weapon early through the Gun Game mode.

It seems developer Sledgehammer Games accidentally left the gun available in this mode all about switching weapons with each elimination you get. It is confirmed to be available in private Gun Game matches, but there’s a chance it is also available in public matches. When the TAQ Eradicator is finally released for everyone, its official unlock method will likely be as part of the seasonal battle pass, a weekly challenge, or the Armory Unlock system.

When will the TAQ Eradicator LMG release?

Since the TAQ Eradicator LMG is only available through a single method at this time, you might be wondering when you’ll be able to use it officially. Its release date is currently unknown, but there are a couple of options. First of all, it could release as a weekly challenge weapon, which could happen at any time randomly.

On the other hand, it could drop as part of a major content release, such as Season 1 or Season 1 Reloaded. The former will happen on December 6, 2023, while the latter will occur sometime in January 2024.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
