The second series of The Coils of Bahamut is even more challenging than its predecessor, especially the Savage version, which can be unlocked by completing the raid’s normal mode. You can read about how to unlock The Second Coil of Bahamut in FFXIV below, along with its Savage versions.
How to Unlock The Second Coil of Bahamut in FFXIV
Players will need to meet the following requirements to access The Binding Coil of Bahamut to access this Raid series:
- Complete “Another Turn.”
- Complete The Binding Coil of Bahamut – Turn 5
- Reach Item Level 90.
- Reach Level 50 with your character.
Once you’ve beaten The Binding Coil of Bahamut you will be able to pick up the quest “Alisaie’s Pledge” from Urianger at The Waking Sands at X:6.0, Y:4.9. After completing this quest you can then speak to Urianger again at X:6.0, Y:4.9 in The Waking Sands to accept the quest “Another Turn in the Coil” to unlock the Second Coil of Bahamut Raids. Unlike The Binding Coil, this Raid Tier comprises only four Raids instead of five.

- The Second Coil of Bahamut – Turn 1
- The Second Coil of Bahamut – Turn 2
- The Second Coil of Bahamut – Turn 3
- The Second Coil of Bahamut – Turn 4
There are Savage versions of The Second Coil of Bahamut. This can be done by speaking to Alys at Mor Dhona at X:21.7 Y:8.6 and by accepting “Sing me Another Song.”
Requirements to unlock the Savage version of The Second Coil of Bahamut are:
- Complete “The Ultimate Ballad’
- Complete The Second Coil of Bahamut – Turn 4
