Final Fantasy XIV features a vast plethora of content for players to divulge in. These can range from Dungeons, Trials, Raids, and Alliance Raids. Alliance Raids are 24-man Raids that see a total of three parties teaming up to take on challenging encounters against entirely new foes, or even as part of crossover content. The Royal City of Rabanastre falls into the later, as it is part of the Return to Ivalice Alliance Raid series in FFXIV. Much like the title implies, the Return to Ivalice series will see players head to familiar locations found in Final Fantasy XII and Final Fantasy Tactics. The Royal City of Rabanstre is the first of three Alliance Raids that tell an alternate history of Ivalice, and one more connected to Final Fantasy XIV‘s Eorzea.
