However, not all Weapons are unlocked immediately, with some hidden behind specific requirements. This guide will explain how you can unlock the Great Sword in Monster Hunter Now.

How to Unlock the Great Sword in Monster Hunter Now

In order to unlock the Great Sword, you will need to complete the beginning of Chapter 2. Thankfully, if you walk or travel a lot, you will be able to unlock the Great Sword in no time. As you will be fulfilling the requirements in order to reach Chapter 2 by completing Quests, this will involve Hunting specific quantities of monsters and obtaining materials.

How to Unlock the Monster Hunter Now Great Sword Skill

Like all Weapons, the Great Sword will have it’s own unique Skill. In this case, the Great Sword will have the familiar True Charged Slash. Once you have upgraded your Great Sword to Grade 2, you will then unlock this Weapon Skill. Your Weapon Skill will be charged when you attack a monster. Thankfully, your Weapon Skill charges will be transferred over between Hunts. This means you can save True Charged Slash for more difficult Hunts.
