Copperbell Mines is another dungeon in Final Fantasy XIV that is part of the game’s Main Scenario Quest. Much like Sastasha and Tam-Tara Deepcroft, Copperbell Mines will be available to unlock early in FFXIV. Just like those previous dungeons, players will need to complete certain Main Scenario quests and reach a certain level in order to not only unlock but tackle it.
How to Unlock the Copperbell Mines in FFXIV
Copperbell Mines is located at X:27, Y:17 in the Western Thanalan. It can be found east of Horizon, which can be accessed either through the Aetheryte located there or by the Porter. Either way, make sure to talk to the Porter once you arrive in Horizon, since you’ll be traveling here quite a bit for the Main Scenario anyways. In order to access Copperbell Mines you will need the quest “Into a Copper Hell” and be Level 17. But if you find that you’re lacking a level, make use of the Duty Roulette: Leveling to run through either Sastasha or Tam-Tara Deepcroft for extra experience.

Like Tam-Tara and Sastasha, this dungeon can be run with the Trust System. This means that you do not need to run this dungeon with other players, and instead can be accompanied by NPCs. After unlocking this dungeon it will be added to the Duty Roulette.
