Just like in Final Fantasy VII, the Chocobo Farm makes an appearance in FFVII Ever Crisis. However, you won’t need to breed any Golden Chocobos to unlock stages or traverse an open world map. Instead, the Chocobo Farm is a great way to passively farm materials to upgrade your characters. This guide details what you need to do in order to unlock the Chocobo Farm in FFVII Ever Crisis.
How to Unlock the Chocobo Farm in FFVII Ever Crisis
Unlike Solo Content, the Chocobo Farm will become available once you hit Player Level 5. Once hit that milestone, it can be accessed from the Home page. The Chocobo Farm works similarly to the Expedition feature in War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. This means that you can send Chocobos out on Expeditions with the chance to receive a specific kind of rewarding depending on the Expedition.

For example, Midgar I will allow you to obtain Weapon Upgrade materials on Chocobo Expeditions or items to Synthesize Materia. This can be very valuable in terms of passively farming items needed to increase your overall Power Level. Additionally, sending a Chocobo out on Expeditions will uncover more of the map you’ve sent them to. Doing this this will unlock more places to send your Chocobo. As it stands, you only need to explore 75% of each area in order to unlock the next tier.
The Chocobo Stable is also where you can manage your Chocobo and obtain more Chocobo with Chocobo Medals. Chocobo of varying ranks will be available to purchase anywhere from 1,000 to 5 Chocobo Medals. You can also increase the amount of Chocobo your stable can hold, or the amount of Expeditions you can send your Chocobo on for Blue or Red Crystals. The first Expedition slot increase will cost 300 Blue or Red Crystals, with the third slot costing 1,500 Blue or Red Crystals.
