How to Unlock the Alexander: Midas Alliance Raid in FFXIV

The Alexander: Midas raids will see Final Fantasy XIV players delving further into the mystery surrounding the appearance of the mysterious mech outside of Old Sharlayan. This guide breaks down how to unlock the normal version of Alexander: Midas in FFXIV and the Savage version of the Raid.

How to Unlock Alexander: Midas in FFXIV

Players will need to meet the following requirements to access Alexander: Midas in this Raid series:

  • Complete “Enigma.”
  • Complete Alexander – The Burden of the Father
  • Reach Item Level 170.
  • Reach Level 60 with your character.

Like Alexander: Gordias, Midas will see you unlocking several Raids by following a specific questline. Once you have beaten Alexander – The Burden of the Father, speak to Redbrix in The Dravanian Hinterlands at X:23.9, Y:26.5 to pick up the quest “Enigma.”

After completing the quest, you can pick up “Rearmed” by speaking to Roundrox at X:21, Y:18 in The Dravanian Hinterlands. This will unlock Alexander – The Fist of the Son. Once you’ve done this, you can follow the quest chain to unlock the subsequent Raids.

Keep in mind that you will need to fly in this area to access the Alexander: Midas Raids. So you will either need to unlock flying in the area or ask a random stranger, friend, or Free Company member to fly you to the start of the Raid.

Below is a list of the Raids you will unlock in Alexander: Midas:

  • Alexander – The Fist of the Son
  • Alexander – The Cuff of the Son
  • Alexander – The Arm of the Son
  • Alexander – The Burden of the Son

You can unlock the Savage version of Alexander: Midas by speaking to The Wandering Minstrel in Mor Dhona at X:21,Y:8 upon completing the normal versions of the Raids.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
