One of the best parts about Genshin Impact is the continued drip of content, much of which is varied and different from what you’ve seen before in the game. Enter the Genshin Impact The Forge’s Realm Temper: Endless Swarm minigame event.
This new one is quite unique in that it takes a trading card game (TCG) approach to its challenges using the Genius Invokation system. Players have the option to assemble their heart of the cards and duel through four different stages of opponents for special rewards.
How to Unlock and Participate in The Forge’s Realm Temper: Endless Swarm
Unfortunately, not every player has access to the new Realm Temper: Endless Swarm event in Genshin Impact 3.8. There are some prerequisites you must first meet before you are able to take on this extremely fun bit of content:
- Reach Adventurer Level 32
- Complete the Prologue: Act 3 main story quest “Song of the Dragon and Freedom”
- Take on the World Quest “Battlefield of Dice, Cats, and Cards” to unlock the Genius Invokation TCG minigame
So long as you meet those requirements, you can head to The Cat’s Tail and speak with Prince, the Duel Saint of Cats. There are four stages in total for you to battle through. You have five rounds in each stage to defeat as many foes as you can.
The more successful you are and the more opponents you defeat in those five rounds, the more points you get for that run. The more points you get, the better rewards you have. The only problem is that each stage has different rules, such as the opponent taking damage for each character that loses.
The rewards that are up for grabs during this Endless Swarm event are Lucky Coins. You can earn up to 8,000 Lucky Coins if you master all four stages in total. Those coins can then be used at the Card Shop to purchase new cards and items to boost your Genius Invokation TCG deck.
