Golems make the Necromancer class one of the most powerful builds in the latest Diablo. However, you need to unlock the giant Minion first by completing a special class quest. Here is how to summon the Bone Golem in Diablo IV.

You need to reach level 25 to unlock Bone Golem in Diablo IV. The tank-y Minion becomes accessible in Necromancer’s Book of the Dead after completing the Necromancer: Call of the Underworld class quest. Once you’ve leveled up your early-game Necromancer build to 25, you can access the Call of the Underworld mission as a Priority Quest in your Journal.

The quest is located at a skeleton shrine just north of Menestad. You’ll be tasked with collecting 12 Unbroken Bones and completing a dungeon. You can find the exact location of the Underworld class quest in the screenshots I’ve provided below:

Although the Bone Golem will unlock upon completing the Necromancer: Call of the Underworld quest, you will need to equip it first before it can be used. In the pause menu, select the Book of the Dead, located next to the Character tab.

Next, select the Golem menu and choose one of the two perks in the Bone category to enable it. Finally, access your Skill menu and add the Golem to your hotbar to summon it. Once the Minion has been assigned to an empty Skill slot, the giant creature will automatically spawn in the overworld next to you.

The Necromancer class in Diablo IV has two other Golem you can choose from: Blood Golem unlocks at level 28, and Iron Golem unlocks at level 32. Unlike Bone Golem, you won’t have to complete any quests to earn them—just reach the required level.

Diablo IV is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One. If you’re trying to farm loot, resetting dungeons is a great option.
