The item you need for this epilogue event is the Mythical Pecha Berry. To get this, you want to open up the main menu and go to Mystery Gift. Then you want to search for the Mystery Gift with the “using the internet” option. You don’t need a code to get the Mythical Pecha Berry. Just search online for a gift, and you’ll automatically receive it.

The one issue with this is that The Pokemon Company hasn’t revealed whether the Mystery Gift item has an expiration date. There is a strong chance this gift will only be available for a certain period of time, so try to be wary of that. It is best to get it as soon as you possibly can.

How to start the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Epilogue

Once you have the Mythical Pecha Berry, you are almost ready to start the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet epilogue story. You need to make sure you have some requirements met. First, you need to complete the Academy Ace Tournament at the end of the base game at least once.

You must also finish The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk DLCs by rolling credits on them. Once you the Mythical Pecha Berry, go to Kitakami to Mossui Town. Interact with the little plushy-like purple and black object to the left of the lady NPC who sells stuff, and you will see a short cutscene, which will begin the Mochi Mayhem story. It is pretty linear from there as you learn about a new Pokemon.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet is available exclusively for Nintendo Switch alongside The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk DLC.
