You will need to sell your ships to free up inventory space in Starfield. This is especially true if you decide to become a space pirate, as you will need to know where to go to offload your extra spacecraft.

Where do I sell my ships in Starfield?

You will eventually get a bigger ship in Starfield as you progress through the main campaign. While you can store multiple ships at the spaceport, your inventory will become full quickly. Plus, why not make some extra credits by selling off the junk heaps you had to fly at the beginning of the game? Thankfully, craft selling is pretty straightforward in Bethesda’s space RPG.

To sell your ships in Starfield, you need to visit a spaceport or ship services vendor. After interacting with the service NPC, select the “Let me see what ships you have for sale” option. Now that you are on the sales screen, you can press the “Y” button on Xbox to sell your own ships to the vendor. That’s it!

The quickest place to sell your ships in Starfield is at the New Atlantis Spaceport. Simply fast-travel to the Alpha Centauri system planet and find the hat-wearing NPC that is standing immediately outside of your ship upon landing.

It should be noted that in most cases, your ships will not fetch a lot of money from vendors unless you have invested a lot in the merchant Starfield Skill. Still, it’s good to know how to sell your crafts, as you will need to free up your inventory the further you travel into space.

Starfield is available for the Xbox Series X and PC.
