In many Bokujou Monogatari/Story of Seasons games, selling anything you grow, find, or get is as easy as dumping it in a shipping bin. Things don’t work like that in the latest game. In Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, you may find you need to learn how to sell items that aren’t milk or crops, due to how it handles fish, flowers, and other sorts of items.

So what can I sell via my shipping bin in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life?

The shipping bin in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life is used to sell things like crops, eggs, milk, and seeds. Basically, this is because Takakura is taking these sorts of items to market for you. So it’s a little more specialized. (Be thankful that you can dump produce and animal products in the same one right away!)

How do you sell other items like fish, flowers, and items from digs in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life

You have two options! One is to wait for Van. There’s a stone plaza on Forgotten Valley’s main “road.” Right near to the inn and cafe, Van will open up a stall briefly twice per month. He’ll be there on the third and eighth. He will buy absolutely anything you want to sell, and you can sell up to eight kinds of items at a time. Yes, it means waiting. But it also means getting a large sum of money all at once quickly.

The other is to set up a stall in town. As long as Van doesn’t have his stall up in the little “square,” you can approach that spot and choose to open up a little shop. You’ll then be able to sell 10 items in your inventory. A single item takes up one slot. So if you have three flowers you want to sell, that takes up three slots. The ideal scenario is to do this starting around 9am or 10am. Then, as villagers walk down the road, they may walk over, stop, and buy something. You can then charge them the standard price or a cheaper one, or opt not to sell it to them at all. Someone may also offer “feedback” by saying you aren’t selling anything they want. In which case you can go to the orange box at your stall and interact with it to change your merchandise on display. This option is slower and doesn’t guarantee you sales, but does mean you can sell almost every day.

Though as a quick tip from me to you, Hugh has no money as a child and will never buy anything from you.
