One of the most surprising characters you can romance in Cyberpunk 2077 is Rogue. The relationship is a bit unexpected at first, given the Night City fixer is much older than V. The romantic storyline also involves Johnny Silverhand in a really bizarre way. Here’s what you need to do to get closer to Rogue in Cyberpunk 2077.
How do I romance Rogue in Cyberpunk 2077?
First, you must progress through the main story in Cyberpunk 2077 until you get to the extremely important side quest, “Chippin’ In.” This particular mission revolves around Johnny Silverhand and is also the only way to get the secret ending to the game, which I think is the best one anyway.
Once you get this side quest, you want to complete it to trigger a cutscene with you visiting Johnny Silverhand’s grave in the oil fields. During this part, you need to pick the options that have V siding with Johnny as much as possible. If you choose correctly, you will be given a final option where V agrees to call Rogue.
Here are the dialogue choices you need to pick to unlock Rogue’s romance option:
- “Let’s do something about that” (you will then need to inscribe Johnny’s initials on his grave).
- “The Guy who Saved My Life”.
- “Nah, fucked that up too.”
- “What do you want from me?”
- “OK. But as second chances go, this is your last”.
- “You were a real dick in the beginning.”
- “When you said you let down your friends – did you mean Rogue?”
- “Smasher Biz really got to her.”
- “Yeah, I’ll call Rogue”.
After choosing the right dialogue choices this will activate a second side quest, known as “Blistering Love.” This is the actual mission in which V gets the chance to romance Rogue. Well, sort of. This side quest doesn’t actually have much to it, as it is a sweet but bizarre date night with Rogue at the cinema. During the date, pick whichever dialogue options sound best to you. However, make sure your choices are flirtatious to push the romance scene forward.
The romantic quest will eventually give you a chance to kiss Rogue. If you want to truly romance her at the end of the game, go for it! After that, you’ll get an interesting romance scene that is definitely unsuitable for work.
Without getting into spoilers, the Rogue date won’t go as you might have expected. However, don’t panic. The game is scripted to play out this way, and you didn’t make any mistakes. The Rogue romance will continue when you reach the end of the game’s main story. However, you need to unlock and complete the “Blistering Love” quest first.
