How do I romance Lumina in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life?

In the first year, you must find yourself a lifelong partner to progress into Chapter 2 and start your own family. Like all characters, Lumina’s feelings for you are built up by giving her gifts that she loves and/or likes every single day. Unlike some other marriage candidates, such as Nami, she’s fairly easy to romance.

Lumina is a fan of the following gifts:

• Loves: Goddess Drop Flower, Trick Blue Flower, Toy Flower, Golden Wool, Moonlight Ore.
• Likes: Eggs.
• Dislikes: Milk, Tomatoes, Coins, Fossils, Fish.

Avoid gifting anything Lumina dislikes, or she won’t accept it. You can give her gifts up to three times per day if you give her different items.

Where can I find Lumina in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life?

Most of the time, you’ll either find Lumina in or outside of the Villa. If she’s playing piano, you won’t be able to gift her anything, so you’ll need to wait until she’s finished.

I regularly found her in the following spots:

• 7 AM – 9:30 AM: Inside her bedroom.
• 9:30 AM – 12 PM: Outside the Villa OR playing the piano.
• 12 PM – 1 PM: Inside her bedroom.
• 1:30 PM – 4 PM: Outside the Villa.
  • OR 3 PM – 3:30 PM: Outside the Twins’ house.
• 5:30 PM – 7 PM: At the Plaza OR outside the Villa.
• 7 PM – 9 PM: Inside Romana’s bedroom.
• 9 PM – 10 PM: Inside her bedroom.

If she isn’t where you expect her to be, open up the map and hover over each icon to see which villager is where. This will show her current location.

How do I check my romance level with Lumina in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life?

To check how much Lumina likes you in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, head to her room in the Villa between 7 AM – 9:30 AM or after 8 PM. Interact with the table with the stuffed animals and jewelry box on to read her diary.

The amount of hearts in her diary corresponds to how much she likes you. The goal is to reach five hearts (or eight hearts in the Resident Info tab of your Journal), as this is when she will accept your proposal with the Blue Feather.

Once you’re engaged, you’ll have to wait until the end of the first year actually to get married and start your family.

How do I get every Lumina Heart Event in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life?

Lumina has four Heart Events, which trigger after each heart in her diary is reached. Here’s how to unlock them all:

1-Heart Event

Visit the Villa while Lumina plays piano between 10 AM and 12 PM during any season. Romana and Rock will stand and listen before Romana tells her to “play more freely.” Lumina will then confide in you and reveal her true feelings toward the piano.

• Agree to chat with her, then select “Have some fun with it!” when she asks what Romana meant.

2-Heart Event

Visit Lumina when she’s in her bedroom between 7 AM and 9 AM, 12 PM and 1 PM, or 9 PM and 10 PM during any season to trigger the event. She will be flicking through some old art books.

• Select “I’d love to!” when she asks if you want to chat.
• Ask “What sorts of pictures are they?” when she brings up the art books.
• Ask “Because you want someone to play piano with?” when Lumina talks about a specific painting making her envious.

4-Heart Event

Go to the Villa after 7:15 PM in any season, and you’ll encounter the butler, Sebastian. He asks if you’d like to taste a dish he’s prepared for Romana. On your way to the kitchen, you hear Romana and Lumina discussing Lumina’s “heartache” and stop at the bedroom door to eavesdrop. Sebastian catches you and ushers you into the kitchen to try his meal.

• Select “You’ve outdone yourself, Sebastian!” when he asks how the food tastes.

6-Heart Event

In the Fall, enter the Villa at 7 AM and then leave straight away. As you walk out of the door, Lumina will follow and ask you if you want to accompany her to the beach.

• Select “SHORE I will!” when she asks if you want to walk to the seashore with her.
• Choose “What was yours like?” when Lumina asks what your first love felt like.
• When she tells you she’s come to think of you as a sibling, select “Are you sure?” and she’ll start to confess her love for you but is interrupted by Sebastian.
