Players can freely change their class and respec in Baldur’s Gate 3, as long as they add a specific NPC to their camp. Withers, the NPC needed to respec and change your class, can be found in the early hours of the game. And he can change your role, allow you to redistribute your attribute points, and do even more, once you find him for the measly price of 100 gold. This gold can be accumulated quickly, so long as you are looting corpses of the enemies you’re killing along the way.
Withers can do more than just respec and change your class in Baldur’s Gate 3. Since he basically allows you to select an entirely new class, this means that players can change their starting spells if they’re a caster, or even pick new feats, as you will retain all of the experience you’ve gained on your journey. This means you won’t be starting from your very first level after choosing to change your class.

Withers will always be found at your camp and is designated on your map (and mini-map) by and icon with a sack that has a white emblem in the center.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is available for the PC and will release for PS5 on September 6, 2023.
