How to Reset Trait Points in Remnant 2

Remnant 2 uses a trait system that lets players place points into effects ranging from increased health and stamina to more advanced things like extra mod power from melee attacks. But don’t worry if you find a new trait you absolutely have to max out immediately, or decide you want to re-allocate points to refine your build. It is possible to reset your trait points in Remnant 2.

How to reset your trait points in Remnant 2

Your first step to reset your trait points in Remnant 2 is to gather up the required materials: 2,500 scrap and 3 Lumenite crystals. Scrap is the common currency and found everywhere, but 2,500 is a significant amount. So make sure you’ve got a plan in mind before you wipe the slate. The crystals are a slightly less common drop from enemies and chests, but still they shouldn’t take you long to find.

After that, you’re going to want to visit Wallace. He’s the mystic who lives in the container by the water in Ward 13. Enter his menu and you’ll be able to buy an Orb of Undoing. This is the item that will let you reset your trait points in Remnant 2, and it even stays in your inventory until you need it.

Remnant 2 launches on July 25, 2023, and an early access period for Ultimate Edition owners started July 21, 2023. The game is available on the PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X.
