How to Recruit Wyler and Marin in Eiyuden Chronicle

Before you can ever recruit these two siblings to the Watch, you need to first progress through the main story until you reach the conclusion of the prologue and the unlocking of the home base. After this point, you can then head from your base to the location of Bounty Hill on the eastern side of the region.

Once you arrive here, you will find Wyler at the entrance. He is a kind hunter looking for his sister Marin, who is looking for food at Bounty Hill. He will temporarily join you and you’ll want to go to the food point on the eastern path for a short cutscene. Then look on the left path and then the right again in the southeastern corner to finally find Marin. There will be a short and easy fight, which then allows both to join the Watch.

Best Wyler and Marin Tips

Wyler and Marin couldn’t be any more different in Eiyuden Chronicle as siblings. Starting with Wyler, he is a hunter who uses a traditional bow and arrow for his weapon. He deals solid long-range damage, though I think some other ranged characters are a bit better.

He is best used in tandem with his sister, Marin. She is a long-range herb specialist. She has great potential for ranged damage as well as possible healing. If you want to use either, I recommend using both. However, if you don’t want to use them in battle, I suggest bringing Marin along as your support. Her passive ability lets you gather slightly more resources at all points, which I love for gathering materials to upgrade the base.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is available now for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
