Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is full of intriguing characters for the player to recruit. (There are well over 100, in fact!) This even includes some returning characters fans of the prequel game Eiyuden Chronicle Rising might recognize. Such is the case with Hogan, who players are able to recruit in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.
How do I recruit Hogan in Eiyuden Chronicle?
Hogan can be found in the Twinhorne West portion of the town. Notably, this is the part of town players aren’t able to initially access when they get to Twinhorne after the Proving Grounds dungeon. Once you can reach this part however, you’ll be able to find Hogan on the pier overlooking the water.
Hogan is a very straightforward requirement for the player. They must make 50,000 Baqua from buying and selling at the trading post. Unfortunately from my experience, this counter doesn’t start until after he requests you earn that much money. (Or this could be a bug, which has happened with other quests in the game.)
How do I turn a profit at the Trading Post in Eiyuden Chronicle?
Making 50,000 in profit from the trading post is quite a lot, but we have covered some of the simple ways to easily make money from this system. There are some additional ones as well. For instance, you can buy black eggs at any town where it has the two red arrows going down. Then sell it at the Treefolk Village for profit. Or you can buy diamond in Werne Village and sell it at the Treefolk Village as well.
Either way, you should be able to make 50,000 in profit after a couple of tries. Note that it can take around 30 minutes to an hour of real-time playing the game for the trading post to reset back to its default after selling. Once you sell 50,000 baqua or more in profit, head back to Hogan and you can recruit him for your party in Eiyuden Chronicle.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is available right now for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
