How to Recruit Aunt Martha in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes

There are many technically “optional” characters to recruit in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, but few carry the level of emotional weight and lovable nature as Aunt Martha. She is the aunt of the main character Nowa, and players can recruit Aunt Martha in Eiyuden Chronicle.

Where to Find Aunt Martha location in Eiyuden Chronicle

To recruit Aunt Martha in this JRPG, it is quite simple and easy, but she is optional. Since you don’t recruit her in the main story, players could go hours longer than they should before realizing she is a recruitable character. First, players need to reach the point in the main story where Nowa unlocks the home base town.

After all of the cutscenes introducing that, players will be able to explore the town at their leisure. At this point, head out of the main castle into the town. Go to the eastern side of the town where it veers off into a forest-looking area. Here, you will see Aunt Martha hanging around. After a brief cutscene with Nowa, she will leave her hometown and formally join the Watch.

How Martha’s Support and Pasturage Work

Once you recruit Aunt Martha in Eiyuden Chronicle, it is now time for the real fun to begin. She doesn’t fight like many of the other party members, but she is still a valuable member nonetheless. For one, you can take her along on your journeys across the world as a Forager support member. Doing so will increase the amount of food you get at food gathering points.

In addition to that, you can unlock the Pasturage at your home base. This lets the town start collecting food and milk constantly over time. This is an essential upgrade as soon as possible because food is a valuable resource for unlocking other parts of the town.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is available now for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
