Starfield is full of interesting and colorful characters for you to meet, befriend, and perhaps romance in your journey for answers across the cosmos. One of the main companions you can recruit in Starfield is Andreja, one of the most intriguing and elusive members of Constellation.

How to Recruit Andreja for Your Ship Crew in Starfield

Andreja is the final member of Constellation that I recruited for my party in Starfield, so it is likely you’ll have to play a bit of the main story before you can reach her. What you want to do is follow the main path involving the group Constellation past the prologue and first few missions.

At some point, you’ll unlock a group of main story missions at the same time and you can tackle them in any order you want. This includes the potentially Frozen-inspired “Into the Unknown” quest. If you want to add Andreja to your crew, this is the quest you’ll want to tackle first.

Partway through this quest, you’ll find Andreja on one of the two planets you visit. For me, it was the second planet I visited in the quest, so I’m not sure if this changes or not depending on which order you go in.

Regardless, visit both planets and find the artifacts there. When I entered the cave for the second artifact, she was there and greeted me. From this point forward, she is a forced active companion for you until you complete this quest.

However, you will only be able to chat with her and raise her approval. You won’t be able to dismiss Andreja or have her work on your outpost or ship at this time. To do that, you’ll need to finish “Into the Unknown” in its entirety, and then you’ll unlock her as a permanent crew member and active companion. It is also from that point forward in which you’ll be able to romance her.

Starfield is available for the Xbox Series X and PC.
