Final Fantasy XIV’s endgame gear for level 90 players is determined mainly by the two tomestones. Tomestones of Astronomy and Causality are the core currency you use in the MMORPG to earn some of the best possible gear for your Job. These are the best ways to quickly farm for Tomestones of Astronomy and Causality in FFXIV.

What is the Fastest Way to Farm Tomestones of Astronomy and Causality in FFXIV?

Level 90 players who want to earn Tomestones of Astronomy and Causality the fastest in FFXIV should focus on two main methods. First and foremost, you should keep in mind that you can earn as many Astronomy tomes as you want as often as you want.

On the other hand, though, the more elusive Causality currency has a limit of 450 per week. With that in mind, the first method to earn these tomestones is to do your daily Duty Roulettes. These include the Expert Roulette, Alliance Raids, and so on at level 90.

In fact, you get 90 Tomestones of Causality once per day for Expert Roulette. You could do this once per day each week for five days and you’ll guaranteed hit your limit weekly. On the other hand, running level 90 dungeons repeatedly as much as you want will get you limitless Tomestones of Astronomy.

The second method, which is the fastest but more niche, is to run hunt trains. There are expert level 90 hunts in the Endwalker expansion areas, which are meant to be done with larger groups of players. For this, you’ll need to make a party and connect with others on your world server for success.

The goal is to run these hunt trains over and over, going from one hunt to the next. It is possible to max out your weekly max of Causality in just a couple of hours, if not less, this way. This makes it the most time-saving method but hunt trains aren’t for everyone.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC.
