How to Obtain Sacred Items in Diablo IV

Diablo IV Sacred Items

Sacred items, much like Unique items, are what players will need in order to beat back the legions of the Burning Hells in Diablo IV. However, players will not be able to acquire Sacred items until certain conditions are met. Thankfully, it won’t be too long for you to unlock the ability to obtain Sacred items in Diablo IV. The perquisites are relatively small in comparison to the requirements for accessing Unique items and can be done relatively quickly, depending on how fast you can grind. You can read about how to unlock Sacred items below.

How do you get Sacred Items in Diablo IV?

The only way to obtain Sacred items includes beating the main campaign and unlocking World Tier III. Once you change your World Tier to World Tier III, Scared Items will drop from Elite enemies and various chests found throughout the world. The reason you want Sacred items is because there is a chance you can obtain a Sacred Unique item. While not as strong as an Ancestral Unique, Sacred Uniques can be obtained in World Tier III. I’ve found Ancestral Uniques only drop in World Tier IV.

This means players will want to get their hands on Sacred Items (preferably Sacred Uniques), before jumping into World Tier IV. World Tier IV offers the highest challenge in the game, and those playing on Hardcore will want to make sure they are fully outfitted before jumping into what challenges that difficulty has in store.

Diablo IV is available on the PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
