Where and How to Obtain Light-Heavy Hologear in FFXIV Dawntrail
You can obtain pieces of Light-Heavy Hologear from the following Normal Raids in FFXIV:
- AAC Light-Heavyweight M1
- x2 Head, 2x Jewelry, 1x Hand, 1x Feet, 1x Legs, x1 Chest
- AAC Light-Heavyweight M2
- x2 Head, 2x Jewelry, 1x Hand, 1x Feet, 1x Legs, x1 Chest
- AAC Light-Heavyweight M3
- 2x Chest, 2x Legs, 1x Hands, 1x Feet, 1x Head, 2x Jewelry
- AAC Light-Heavyweight M4
- 2x Chest, 2x Legs, 1x Hands, 1x Feet, 1x Head, 2x Jewelry
The Archadion Normal Raids are unlocked through a series of Side Quests, which you can read more about here. Once a week players can obtain one piece of Light-Heavy Hologear through The Archadion Normal Raids to exchange for a piece of gear. Keep in mind that you will be rolling against other players to get whatever piece you may need.
You need one Light-Heavy Holoearring to exchange for a single piece of Jewelry, two Light-Heavy Hologuantlets, Helms, and Greaves to get each respective piece, and four of the chest and legs to get your body pieces. However, once the next set of Normal Raids for The Archadion rolls out, players will be able to farm these Raids to their heart’s content for Light-Heavy gear for glamours or just to equip on other Job Classes.
The reason players will want to run these Normal Raids is that the Light-Heavy Hologear obtained through these fights are Item Level 710. The Artifact Gear distributed through the Main Scenario Quest will set the player at Item Level 690, with the Neo Kingdom gear bumping players up to Item Level 700. And certain content, like the post-MSQ dungeons are locked behind Item Level.
