In Nikke: Goddess of Victory, you take on the role of a commanding officer in the military who has to manage their team and base of operations. Because of this, all players need to know how to run their Outpost in Nikke: Goddess of Victory.
What is your Outpost in Nikke: Goddess of Victory?
The Outpost is your main base in Nikke: Goddess of Victory and has all the amenities you need in one place. After completing chapter 2 of the campaign early in the story, players will earn access to the Outpost. Below are the most important functions of the feature.
The Command Center
The Command Center stands at the center of your Outpost. Despite its fancy title, the only major amenity offered here is the Advising system with your Nikkes. The Advising feature is integral to leveling up your Nikke’s skills.
The Command Center also serves as a gallery of your collected relics, previous cutscenes, and a jukebox of the game’s epic soundtrack. You will want to visit here anytime you want to look over your past achievements.
Bulletin Board
The Bulletin Board contains a list of randomly cycling tasks. Here, players can assign one of their Nikkes for a given time to complete the task and earn a reward. These rewards range from crystals to upgrades, roll tickets, and several others.
While these rewards are impressive, going to the Tactics Academy will provide access to missions with greater rewards. Because these rewards refresh every day, be sure to return whenever possible.
Tactics Academy
The Tactics Academy is possibly the most useful of the features in your Outpost in Nikke: Goddess of Victory. The Tactics Academy lets you spend credit to have Nikke attend classes and learn vital gameplay perks. These perks include more Nikke slots, loot and currency acquisition, building slots, and dozens more.
Along with the aforementioned credit, you will also need to have certain buildings built to take classes later. Players should remember to come back here from time to time to maximize their powers.
Infrastructure Core
The Infrastructure Core is essentially the “central skill tree” of your Outpost in Nikke: Goddess of Victory. By completing challenge missions, players will upgrade their current chip to upgrade the Infrastructure Core. Upgrading your Infrastructure Core will provide many benefits, such as additional stamina points for Nikke advising interactions, your dispatch cap list, and stamina points for Outpost events.
As with your other stats in Nikke: Goddess of Victory, it is part of the interwoven cycle of Outpost level, campaign progression, and Tactics classes taken. To find the challenge missions, click the blue exclamation point on the top right of your menu to see them listed.
Adding Buildings to your Outpost in Nikke: Goddess of Victory
Players will find empty spaces throughout the Outpost marked by floating purple symbols. Players can build more buildings such as cafes, generators, train stations, and many more structures in these spaces. To construct one of these buildings, you will first need to obtain one of the blueprints found during the campaign missions.
As stated above, building more buildings will open more Tactics classes and give you access to greater rewards. Additionally, you can change the location of most buildings after building them.
Outpost Defense
Lastly, Outpost Defense is a method of passively earning goods in Nikke Goddes of Victory, found on the bottom right button of the screen. This is a passive system in which an offscreen battle takes place, earning you goods. These goods include credits, crafting and upgrade materials, and equipment. Players increase their outpost defense level by completing campaign missions.
There is also the Wipe Out button, which will immediately grant you two hours’ worth of rewards. The first attempt of the day is free, with the rest costing crystals. Finally, remember that this system has limited storage, so keep logging on to avoid losing rewards.
Nikke: Goddess of Victory is available for iOS, Android, and Windows.
