What are the Super Spicy Sandwich ingredients in Pokemon Indigo Disk?
You must make a Super Spicy Sandwich in Indigo Disk to complete Crispin’s Elite trial in the Savannah Biome. However, this is easier said than done, as the test requires you to not only discover the correct ingredients but also negotiate for the food items with other Blueberry Academy students as well.
Thankfully, I already suffered through his challenge, so you don’t have to! Below are the Super Spicy Sandwich ingredients you need to pass Crispin’s Elite Trial in The Indigo Disk:
- Jalapeno x 2
- Chorizo x 1
- Onions x 1
- Chili Sauce x 1
- Mustard x 1
- Mayonnaise x 1
How to complete Crispin Elite Trial in Pokemon Indigo Disk
Even if you know the ingredients, you must still negotiate for the food items in a specific order. This can be a bit of a hassle, as the only way to do this is by trial and error. During my playthrough, I was exhausted after spending about half an hour running around the Savannah Biome to determine which student wanted what.
Below is the order of trades you need to make to get the ingredients for the Super Spicy Sandwich:
- Jalapeno (Battle student for it).
- Potato Salad (Battle student for it).
- Potato Salad (Trade student Potato Salad for Onion, Cucumber, and Prosciutto).
- Chili Sauce (Trade student Cucumber for Chili Sauce).
- Mayonnaise (Battle student for it).
- Mayonnaise (Answer the student’s quiz and get Egg, Olive Oil, and Vinegar).
- Jalapeno (Trade Prosciutto and Olive Oil for Jalapeno)
- Chorizo (Trade Eggs for it)
- Mustard (Trade Vinegar for it)
Step 1: Jalapeno
Run around the Savanah Biome until you see a student with a bubble that reads “Jalapenos!”. Speak to him, and he will then offer to sell you Jalapenos for 50 BP, or you can get them for free by defeating him in battle.
Step 2: Potato Salad (Battle)
The next NPC you are looking for in your Super Spicy Sandwich hunt is a student who says, “Beat me for Potato Salad!” Just like the Jalapenos, you will need to defeat this student in a quick battle to obtain the coveted Potato Salad.
Step 3: Potato Salad (Trade)
Next, look for a student with a bubble that reads, “Three ingredients if you give me something!” After talking to him, trade the student your Potato Salad in exchange for Onion, Cucumber, and Prosciutto. What a deal!
Step 4: Chili Sauce
Now that you have the cucumber in hand, look for a female student who says, “Chili sauce or Ketchup!” After speaking to her, she will ask you to trade your cucumber. Say yes and ask for her Chili sauce.
Step 5: Mayonnaise (Battle)
The next ingredient you need is mayonnaise. Look around the Biome for a student with a bubble that reads, “Do you want Mayonnaise.” After speaking to him, he will hand over a bottle of the condiment once you’ve beaten him in battle.
Step 6: Mayonnaise (Quiz)
You will now need to look for the student asking, “What do you get when you mix eggs, oil, and vinegar? Tell me, if you got it!” Show her the Mayo you obtained from the previous battle, and she will hand over Egg, Olive Oil, and Vinegar.
Step 7: Jalapeno (Trade)
It’s now time to get your second helping of Jalapeno. Look for the student that says, “Trade you a Jalapeno!”. Hand over the Proscuitto and Olive Oil to get a second helping of the spicy topping. Now your sandwich is finally starting to get some heat.
Step 8: Chorizo (Trade)
Next, look for a student with a bubble that reads “Broader chorizons!” After speaking to the student, he will offer you up a Chorizo for the Eggs you obtained after completing the Mayo quiz earlier. Make the trade to obtain the meat.
Step 9: Mustard
The last and final step is to speak to the student directly next to the Chorizo NPC. The student will have a bubble that reads “Marmalade and Mustard.” Trade the Vinegar you got from the Mayo quiz in exchange for Mustard. And that’s it; you finally have all the ingredients you need!
Step 10: Make a Super Spicy Sandwich in Indigo Disk
Head back to where Crispin is standing and interact with him. He will now give you the option to make a sandwich. To make the Super Spicy Sandwich in Indigo Disk, add the ingredients of two Jalapeno, Chorizo, Onions, Chili Sauce, Mustard, and Mayonnaise. Crispin will then judge it a three-star creation, and you will pass his Elite Trial.
