How to Make a Hammer in Atelier Ryza 3

You’ll need a wide arsenal of gathering tools in Atelier games. Atelier Ryza 3 has a number of them, getting to make a Hammer is an early way to diversify. Fortunately, like the Woodcutter’s Axe, this an item you can create very early in with items from the Pixie Forest.

While the Woodcutter’s Axe in Atelier Ryza 3 only needs Eiche, you’ll need one other material for a Hammer. Eiche can be acquired by using Ryza’s staff on any log on the ground in Pixie Forest. The other item you need is Amatite Ore. This can be grabbed with Ryza’s hands from grey rocks with black outcroppings on the main road into the Pixie Forest.

When you’re at Ryza’s workshop, approach the cauldron. In the Effect 1 slot, place the Eiche. In the Effect 2 position, place the Amatite Ore. Finish making it. Add it to your on-hand equipment by going to Items in the main game menu, and you’re all set. Make sure you experiment when you’re in the actual field, as sometimes items you wouldn’t expect could be hit with an axe, like a mushroom or tree, can be and will yield items.
