Final Fantasy XIV features plenty of Jobs for players to check out. With the amazing ability to switch Jobs anytime you want, there are so many alternate Jobs you might want to level up. It honestly might not take too much time either. Here are the various ways that I recommend using to quickly level alt jobs up the fastest in FFXIV.

How to Quickly Level Alt Jobs in FFXIV

Leveling up alternate Jobs the fastest in FFXIV depends on what level it is currently. If you don’t have an alt Job yet, you can unlock them once you reach level 10 with your starting Job and then complete the level 10 Job quest and progress to this point in the main scenario.

At that point, you can switch to another Job anytime you want. All it takes is to go to the Guild of the class you want to learn and start there to get the free beginner’s gear.

As for how you level up your alt Job the fastest, though, it goes as follow:

  • Level 1-15: Class quests, side quests, and Levequests
  • Level 15-60: Dungeons, Palace of the Dead, and Duty Roulette
  • Level 60-70: Dungeons, Duty Roulette, PvP, and Wondrous Tails
  • Level 70-80: The Bozjan Southern Front, Dungeons, Pixie Tribe Quests, and Duty Roulette
  • Level 80-90: Dungeons, Duty Roulette, and Tribe Quests

The Duty Roulette and dungeons, as you can see, are going to be your best friends for most of the journey. Every day, you get bonus experience for completing the first run of each Duty Roulette. There are several of them, including Trials, Alliance Raids, and more for you to do.

Altogether, these can usually mean at least a level or two with them alone, depending on your level. You can then compound this with PvP, Palace of the Dead, tribe quests, and more. Wondrous Tails is also fantastic since you get a huge experience bonus of usually half a level if you complete the required content. The only problem with that one is it severely limits you to content you may not enjoy.

When in doubt, though, look at your Duty Finder and just queue up for the dungeon closest to your level. The best part is you can usually do most dungeons solo with AI companions these days.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC.
