How to Get the Soar Trophy in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

One of the most seemingly daunting trophies on Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 achievement list is Soar, which requires a long journey across NYC using the web wings. For those struggling to cover the distance, here’s how to get the Soar trophy in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

The trophy description reads, “Using only your Web Wings, glide from the Financial District to Astoria (Wind Tunnels are okay!)” That last little hint is going to be our little cheat code to trivialize this whole process. We’re gonna use wind tunnels to make this much easier.

Let’s begin with a trip to the Financial District. Place a marker at the northeastern edge of the district (as illustrated in the picture below). When you arrive, you’ll encounter a variety of starting points, but I highly recommend selecting the radio tower located right on the district’s border. From this vantage point, you’ll have ample altitude to reach our initial wind tunnel.

Take a northward leap towards Astoria, and as you jump, immediately activate your web wings. You’ll notice, directly ahead of you, a wind tunnel at a slight distance, running alongside a mural (pictured below). This serves as our initial wind tunnel, so make a beeline for it and let it carry you all the way to the waterfront.

Now, we must travel just a bit further for the Soar trophy in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Once you find yourself hovering above the water, you’ll spot yet another wind tunnel directly ahead, spanning across the water’s surface. Enter this wind tunnel and head to the right. Pull upwards and exit the tunnel shortly after entering, utilizing your momentum to soar into the wind tunnel running perpendicularly above it (pictured below).

Remain in this final wind tunnel until it reaches its end, and it will propel you directly into Astoria. Once this is accomplished, congratulations – the Soar trophy in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is now yours!
