You can speak to a lot of folks in Baldur’s Gate 3, including people, mind flayers, animals, and even inanimate objects. Yes, this even means there’s a magical amulet that speaks with you. To get the Sentient Amulet in Baldur’s Gate 3 though, you’ll have to head to a specific spot.

Where to Find and Get the Sentient Amulet in Baldur’s Gate 3

If talking to an Ornate Mirror in Baldur’s Gate 3 isn’t enough, there is a Sentient Amulet you can carry around with you. To get this accessory, you’ll need to progress to Act 2 of the game and head to the Underdark. If you didn’t go this way to reach the Moonrise Towers, no problem, as you can still access this way from the cursed shadow lands.

The goal is to head to the Grymforge, where you will find the place where the Absolute followers previously had their camp. There is an Adamantine Chest you can find at the Grymforge at the coordinates of X: -626, Y: 224.

All you need to do is head here, open up the chest, and take the amulet from inside. The wildest part about this is that the Sentient Amulet can talk to you. If you speak with it after picking it up, you’ll progress further in the “Help the Cursed Monk” side quest.

If you haven’t picked up that side quest yet in Act 1, finding this Sentient Amulet will activate the quest for you. You’ll learn more about the spirit who possesses the amulet and have the next object in the side quest.

In addition to gaining a new friend to talk with, wearing this amulet also grants the user a new spell. You’ll get the level 2 Evocation spell Shatter, which deals some intense thunder damage to all nearby enemies.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is available for PCs and will release for the PS5 on September 6, 2023.
