Cooking dishes and crafting specific ingredients in Magical Delicacy will require you to get a plethora of cooking tools. If you’re wondering how to get some of the main pieces of cooking equipment for your culinary kitchen, this guide will tell you how and when you can buy them.
How to get the Oven
The oven is one of the main cooking apparatuses you will use throughout the game, as it will allow you to cook dishes and craft ingredients like Fragrant Oil, which will be needed to brew Ember and Mist Tincture.
You can buy an oven from the blacksmith’s store in the Central Plaza from Star after you have completed the “Sweetness For A Princess” quest from Adelaide, which should be the second quest you will come across in Magical Delicacy.
How to get the Cauldron
To be able to brew potions in Magical Delicacy, you will have to get a cauldron. However, for the cauldron to become purchasable at the blacksmith store, you must complete the “Apprentice Assessment Quest“. Remember, you will have to wait till nighttime to use the cauldron, as the witch’s power shines at night.
How to get other Cooking Tools
In order to complete the “Sweetness For A Princess” quest, you will need to buy a mortar and pestle and a cutting board from the blacksmith store. You may not have much money at this point in the game; however, selling items you found scavenging the environment or breaking pots (which is done by simply walking past them) will get you the cash in no time.
Alongside the oven becoming a buyable piece of equipment for your kitchen, after you have completed the “Sweetness For A Princess” quest, you can purchase a juicer and stove pan at the blacksmith store as well.
At the woodpecker store, you can also buy equipment that can be placed in your kitchen. This includes store platforms and more storage space. You can also purchase a compost bin that turns unwanted organic materials into fertilizer for your garden and a dehydrator to dry out ingredients and turn them into dried variants. To edit your store, interact with the artboard in your kitchen, and you will enter editing mode.
Magical Delicacy is now available on the Xbox One, Xbox X/S and PC via Steam, and the Switch version will arrive in August 2024.
