One of the most difficult trophies in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 may come as a shock because it involves something so fun: air tricks. If you’re struggling, here’s our guide on how to snag the Hang Ten trophy in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

The Hang Ten trophy in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 requires you to “perform 30 Air Tricks in a row without touching the ground.” This is deceptively difficult, because that’s a good deal of air time. While the Spider-Men have plenty of options for getting into the air, they still have to contend with gravity.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Hang Ten trophy guide

Half the trick to this trophy is having a ton of stuff that can keep Spidey in the air. In the shared skill tree grab Spider-Jump and Spider-Dash, you’ll want these options to extend your air time. If you can spare it, also grab Aerial Escapades. This skill makes tricks lessen your jump and dash cooldowns, giving you a positive feedback loop.

The other half of the Hang Ten trophy in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is execution. Once in the air, either from a jump or a web-swing, start doing tricks with the directional buttons and square. You can use web wings, swinging, and the Spider-Jump and Spider-Dash to give yourself more air when you need it. Just don’t touch the ground or any walls, or you’ll have to start from zero.

While I can’t help you as much here with doing the tricks, I can set you up for success. Don’t try to do this in an area surrounded on all sides by buildings. Miles and Peter tend to cling to surfaces you don’t want them to, which will end your combo. Go near the water or over parks and greenery. You don’t want to be far enough to not have a building to swing from if you need it, but you definitely don’t want to swing into or onto one either.

It may take a couple attempts to get it, but eventually you should be able to land more than enough mid-air tricks for the trophy. If you’re still missing some, here are some guides for the Home Run and You Know What To Do trophies.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is now available exclusively on the PS5.
