How to Start the FFXIV All Saints’ Wake Event

Before you can earn the new rewards in this year’s Halloween festivities, you’ll want to begin by starting the FFXIV All Saints’ Wake event. Your only requirements for this event is to have a character with at least level 15 in a Disciple of War or Magic class. Once you do, head on over to Old Gridania at X: 10.4, Y: 8.4 and speak with Adventurers’ Guild Investigator NPC.

To speed up the process, you can teleport to the New Gridania main Aetheryte crystal and then teleport to the Mih Khetto’s Amphitheatre crystal. Start “The Fright Stuff” quest there to begin this year’s Halloween event. Be quick, though, as this event is only available until Monday, November 13, 2023 at 6:59am PT/9:59am ET/2:59pm CET.

How to Unlock the All Saints’ Charm Emote and Vampire Bats

For many players, the main goal of doing the FFXIV All Saints’ Wake event this year is to grab themselves the new charm emote and Wall-mounted Vampire Bats item. To do this, you want to first start by completing “The Fright Stuff” quest. This has you go around with Papa Gruff and talk to various citizens around Old Gridania. Each one will be clearly marked, so you can go right to them.

Once you complete the easy quest, your main reward will be the All Saints’ Charm emote, which has you put on your best Harry Potter magical wand impression. For the Wall-mounted Vampire Bats, you’ll want to head over to the All Saints’ Wake NPC vendor near the Mih Khetto’s Amphitheatre. You can purchase as many of this wall mount as you want while the event is available for 2,000 Gil each.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for PS4, PS5, and PC. It will also release for the Xbox Series X in Spring 2024.
