Diablo IV dropped its first season of content with Season of the Malignant. The biggest new addition this season are the new Malignant enemies, which drop various hearts for players to gather up and use to better their gear. Of these hearts, the Wrathful Hearts are the best ones to get, but you’ll need a Diablo IV Wrathful Invoker to get them.

Here’s How to Get the Diablo IV Wrathful Invoker and What It Does

To get a Diablo IV Wrathful Invoker, you’re going to have to rely on some chance. You’ll need to head to the city of Kyovashad and go to Cormond’s Workbench here. You’ll want to craft an Uncertain Invoker, which requires the following materials to create:

  • 40 Brutal Malignant Ichor
  • 40 Devious Malignant Ichor
  • 40 Vicious Malignant Ichor

You’ll need to take on some of the Malignant World Events and defeat Malignant enemies to get the necessary Ichor for this recipe. In addition, I recommend trying this only on World Tier 4, maybe World Tier 3, for the best results.

The reason is because it is an Uncertain Invoker, after all. It isn’t until after you complete it and use the item that you find out what type it is. It is possible that it could be a Brutal Invoker, Devious Invoker, or even Vicious Invoker, none of which are the Wrathful Invoker we want.

On the higher World Tiers, you have a better chance of the Wrathful Invoker dropping. Once it drops, you want to head to the nearest Malignant Tunnel spot on the map. At the end of this tunnel run, you’ll find a node where you can use the Wrathful Invoker to summon a final foe to defeat. This enemy has a chance of dropping the highly coveted Wrathful Heart, which is necessary for excelling in the endgame.

Diablo IV is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
