Sussur Bloom is one of the rarer ingredients in Baldur’s Gate 3, but the benefit is it’s usually conveniently found in the Underdark. It just so happens that the Underdark is exactly where the Arcane Tower is located, which you need the unique ingredient to explore.

Fortunately, the game even makes it easier by allowing you to find Sussur Bloom near the tower itself. To start, you need to reach the Arcane Tower on the west side of the Underdark, southwest of the Beach waypoint. When you get to the entrance to the tower, past a couple of cannons, look to the left of the door.

Here, you should see a ledge you can walk across that will take you around the left side of the tower near one of the cannons. From there, you should see some massive blue and red mushrooms. Hop from mushroom to mushroom, gradually going down until you reach the bottom floor behind the tower.

Here, you will see a glowing blue tree that has a couple of Sussur Blooms. Note that holding one of these will render that person unable to use any magic. Pick it up, then use a lock pick to unlock the basement door to the tower behind you.

Inside that basement room is the power generator, which you can combine the Sussur Bloom with to fully unlock the Arcane Tower and permanently stop any cannons.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is available for PC and will release for the PS5 on September 6, 2023.
