How to unlock the SOA Subverter in MW3

Since the SOA Subverter came out with the Season 2 Reloaded update, it doesn’t appear in the battle pass for the ongoing season. Instead, you will need to complete a few challenges to unlock it while the season is around. Specifically, players must complete at least five of the Week 5 Challenges in the game. These can be done in multiplayer, battle royale, or Zombies.

Here are all of the challenges you can do to unlock the SOA Subverter in MW3:

  • Get 15 hipfire eliminations with a recommended battle rifle using full auto fire
  • Earn 10 melee backstab eliminations on players
  • Get 15 quick scope eliminations while using the JAK Glassless Optic attachment on a recommended weapon
  • Get 15 long shot eliminations on players using a recommended battle rifle with a suppressor
  • Earn 20 eliminations while using the Longbow with the Tyrant 762 Kit
  • Get 20 eliminations while using the Haymaker with the JAK Maglift Mod
  • Get 20 double kills while using the Holger 556

When MW3 Season 2 ends, the SOA Subvert will be part of the Armory Unlock system. At that point, players will just need to complete a certain number of daily challenges at any time to unlock it.

Tips for completing the SOA Subverter Weekly Challenges in MW3

There are seven possible Week 5 Challenges for the SOA Subverter in MW3 Season 2 Reloaded. Fortunately, you only need to complete five of them to get the weapon. This comes down to personal preference, but I recommend the more straightforward ones like double kills, getting eliminations with a certain attachment, and so on.

Your best bet is to take on these challenges in modes where you have lots of potential for eliminations, such as War, Resurgence, Ground War, and Team Deathmatch. This will give you the most number of players to eliminate while still having respawns to keep coming back for more action.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Season 2 is available right now for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
