You can unlock strong boss equipment using Remembrances in Lords of the Fallen. After slaying important bosses in the game, you will earn the rare currency, which can be traded for some of the game’s most powerful items.
How to unlock Remembrances in Lords of the Fallen
You will need a key item known as the Bowl of Revelation, before you can trade your Remembrances for powerful items in Lords of the Fallen. The Bowl of Revelation is fairly easy to track down, as it can be found early in the game.
First, warp to the Vestige of Blind Agatha shortcut, then go down the tunnel to its left. Once at the bottom of the tunnel, you will reach a ledge you must descend. If you previously went to unlock Gerlinde and her forge, you will go along the same path.
Shift into the Umbral Realm, and you will find a flat area nearby filled with petrified undead. At the center of this area, you will find a statue holding an item: the Bowl of Revelation itself. Simply interact with the object to obtain it.

Where to use Remembrances in Lords of the Fallen
With the Bowl of Revelation in hand, return to Skyrest Bridge and go to the path to the right when facing the hallway. While the room may appear empty, shifting into the Umbral Realm will reveal a hunched creature in a blue robe, Mohlu.
Mohlu is not only a vendor who upgrades your Umbral Lantern, but giving him the Bowl of Revelation will unlock the ability to offer Remembrances for powerful boss items. As with other unique items in Lords of the Fallen, many boss Remembrances are high-level and will require high enough stats to use.
How to trade Remembrances for items in Lords of the Fallen
To obtain Remembrance items, you will need two things: Remembrance from a boss and enough Umbral Scourings. Remembrances will not be dropped from every boss in Lords of the Fallen and will only come from important ones such as Pieta and the Hushed Saint. With Remembrance, you can obtain multiple items from each.
As for Umbral Scourings, these are an easily obtainable crafting item to find in Lords of the Fallen. The most common way of acquiring Vigor is through Stigmas. Stigmas are the white, frozen memories you will find only within the Umbral Realm. Soulflay them to play out the memory and earn Umbral Scourings at the end of the sequence.
Additionally, you can purchase Umbral Scourings from Mohlu himself for 1000 Vigor. Right next to him is also the Shrine of the Putrid Mother, which offers Umbral Scourings as one of the items given in return for Plucked Eyeballs.
