Where to find Planet’s Favor location in FF7 Rebirth

If you’ve leveled up your Item Transmuter in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, you may be confused when you need “Planet’s Favor” to craft “Hi-Potion” or “Mixed Hi-Potion.” That is because the rare 3-star material isn’t actually available in the Grasslands or the starting area of Kalm.

Planet’s Favor can first be found in Junon in FF7 Rebirth, which you unlock after reaching Chapter 4: Dawn of a New Era. The crafting material can generally be found around buildings and boxes. It can also be seen in the overworld as a yellow icon while exploring the map.

Below are the locations where Planet’s Favor spawns in FF7 Rebirth:

  • Junon Region (Increases spawn rate)
  • Gongaga Region
  • Nibel Region
  • Northwood
  • Corel Region
  • Cosmo Canyon Region
  • Meridian Ocean

FF7 Rebirth Planet’s Favor location in Junon

Because of the boosted spawn rate, you will want to go to Junon to find Planet’s Favor in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Unfortunately, material spawns randomly throughout the map. Once you pick up the crafting item, it also takes a while before it reappears in the same area. As a result, you can’t really go to one location to farm it.

However, Planet’s Favor generally shows up near the Shinra Construction site in Junon next to the Activation Intel 2: Buffeted Tower. It will appear as a white sack/bag on the floor with a gold icon above it. You find the 3-star material throughout the map as well, next to bulldozers, construction materials, buildings, and boxes.

Simply walk around any crate, tractor, or building in Junon and look for a light pink/white bag on the ground with a yellow icon. In my playthrough, Planet’s Favor always showed up near manmade objects such as Shinra Construction site materials.

Best Planet’s Favor farm location in FF7 Rebirth

The best way to farm Planet’s Favor in FF7 Rebirth is to unlock its crafting recipe in the Item Transmuter. As stated above, material randomly spawns into the map, which is not ideal for farming. However, you can still get the item quickly and in large abundance by crafting it.

To unlock the Item Transmuter Planet’s Favor recipe, you need to complete the “Excavation Intel: The Scars of War” in Junon. The World Intel can be found in south Junon below the Shinra Construction marker on the map. For your convenience, we have provided an image of where you can find the Intel below:

Planet’s Favor Recipe in FF7 Rebirth

Now that you have the recipe unlocked, you can now start crafting Planet’s Favor as much as you want. However, you will need “Planet’s Blessing” as one of the main ingredients. If you explored most of the Grasslands map, you should have an abundance of this material, as it’s found all over that section in Chapter 2.

  • Planet’s Blessing – 3
  • Sage – 3

Once you have Planet’s Favor, you can start crafting Hi-Potion and, more importantly, Mist Hi-Potion. This will keep you alive in any tough battles in the story’s early game section.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is now available on PlayStation 5.
