Where is Peach’s Frying Pan in Super Mario RPG

Peach is no stranger to frying pan warfare. She swings one around famously in Super Smash Bros. and has even fried up some pain with one in Mario Kart. However, the tradition started in the original Super Mario RPG back in 1996.

Not surprisingly, you can find the weapon in the remake as well. The frying pan is Peach’s most powerful weapon, giving her a whopping +90 to her attack stat. This makes the weapon more comparable to some rather difficult ones to get in the game. However, it’s a very simple and straightforward weapon to get your hands on.

The good news is the frying pan is pretty easy to find and obtain. Firstly, you need to beat the Axem Rangers and get the 6th Star. This is the only real prerequisite for getting the frying pan in Super Mario RPG.

Once you have that 6th Star, head on over to Molevile. In the shop there you’ll find a treasure hunting Toad. Talk with him and he will offer a selection of several items he’s found on his expeditions. One of these items is a “metal plate” for 300 gold.

You definitely want to buy this plate. While you may think there’s now going to be some side quest where you turn this metal plate into a frying pan, there actually isn’t. Just go to Peach’s equipment and there it will be, ready for smacking baddies around.

If you’re looking to power up your party even further, maybe try and snag the Lazy Shell too.

Super Mario RPG is available exclusively on theĀ Nintendo Switch.
