In Magical Delicacy, you can only carry 30 items on you at one given time, which is not a lot of storage space, especially considering you can find many ingredients searching the land for resources daily. Want to accumulate more storage space in your culinary kitchen to hold onto a larger variety of ingredients at any given time? Well, here’s how you can buy storage units from Ajea in the Woodpecker store.
Where do I find the Woodpecker Store in Magical Delicacy?
Starting from the Central Plaza, head left. When you enter the next area, keep going left and stay on the top level of the platforms. In the next part of the map, go up the platforms until you reach a staircase and go up them to the next section. From here, jump on the new staircase in front of you and go up the steps. Ignore the platforms and go left. You should stumble across the Woodpecker store.
When you enter the shop, you can buy several storage units from Ajea: Ember, Mist, and Umbra. However, all three storage units hold 50 items each, so you might as well buy the Ember storage unit first, as it only costs 175 red beads. The other two, which will set you back 200 red beads each. If you buy all three, you can potentially hold up to 150 more ingredients.
Unfortunately, buying the storage units will not be enough to gain the new spaces. You must set up the newly purchased storage units in your kitchen, and then place the items you want into them. To do this, you will have to use the kitchen artboard, enter the editing mode, and place the storage unit somewhere in the kitchen, as you do when setting up the cooking equipment you purchase from the Blacksmith.
After placing them in your kitchen, approach the storage space. You will be prompted to put the items you are currently carrying into the storage unit. If you want to grab anything in the storage unit for cooking, just go up to the storage in question and interact with it.
Magical Delicacy is now available on the Xbox One, Xbox X/S, and PC via Steam and will be available on Switch on August 15, 2024.
